Equipment
CMI builds durable equipment with field-proven components to withstand
the harsh metal casting environment.
Our hydraulic presses are custom designed with trimming forces up
to 250 tons. All presses are equipped with safety features such
as light curtains, pneumatic safety catcher or ratchet style safety
bar, dual anti-tie-down starting system, emergency stop button and
the necessary expanded metal guarding.
Presses can be provided with a lower die shuttle system to facilitate
loading and unloading outside the pressing area.
Robotic loading and/or unloading can be integrated to fully automate
the trimming process.
Trim dies can be provided also. This allows us to trim your parts
in our plant prior to shipment and reduces de-bug and start-up time
at your facility.
We provide a wide range of custom designed saws for removing gates
and risers from aluminum castings.
